Prepare for the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day, Ministry of State Secretary Inspects KIPP IKN Area

NUSANTARA - The Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA), along with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), the Agency for Pancasila Ideology Development (BPIP), the Presidential Security Force, Permanent Garrison I/Jakarta, and Kodam VI/Mulawarman, accompanied by the Ministry of State Secretary, inspected the Core Area of the Government Center (KIPP) IKN in preparation for the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) in Nusantara.

The ceremony will take place at the Presidential Palace field, located directly in front of the Presidential Palace and facing the national axis and the panoramic view of the entire city of IKN.

This on-site field inspection is intended to identify suitable locations for positioning facilities and infrastructure, the president, officials, ceremony participants, and TNI and Polri security.

"Tomorrow the ceremony will be here, today we are here. Around August later, it will be like this atmosphere," said Heru Budi Hartono, the Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres), leading the inspection.

Not only the Presidential Palace field, but various areas of IKN were also inspected to support the smooth running of the ceremony for the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of Indonesia on August 17, 2024, this year. The Presidential Palace, Memorial Park, and Construction Worker Housing will be supporting venues during the upcoming ceremony.

The Secretary of the Nusantara, Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, expressed his support for the preparations for this year's Independence Day ceremony, "Because most of the employees of the NCA have moved before the implementation of August 17, 2024. We, as the organizers of the Special Capital Region Government of Nusantara, will fully support the smooth preparation and implementation of this year's Independence Day ceremony."

Also present were the Chair of the Task Force for the Implementation of Nusantara Infrastructure Development, Danis H. Sumadilaga; Deputy for Administration and Management of the Palace, Rika Kiswardani; Deputy for Control and Evaluation of BPIP, Rima Agristina; Deputy for Infrastructure and Facilities of the NCA, Silvia Halim; Expert Staff to the Head of the Cooperation and Creative Economy Division of the IKN Authority, Panji Himawan; Expert Staff to the Minister for Technology, Industry, and Environment at the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Endra S. Atmawidjaja.
