Indian Investors Visit the Nusantara to Explore Investment Opportunities in Various Fields

NORTH PENAJAM PASER – The Nusantara is increasingly attracting the attention of world investors, as evidenced by the large number of investors who visit to the site directly. Recently, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to India and Bhutan, Ina Hagniningtyas Krisnamurthi, brought Indian investors to visit the Nusantara. This visit aims to explore investment opportunities in the Nusantara as well as observe the development process taking place in the Nusantara area, on Friday (20/10/2023).

The investors who involved in this visit are companies with large assets and an international reputation. Their companies work in certain fields, ranging from health, infrastructure, ports and mineral resources such as mineral salts to raw materials for paper and tiles. Investors show a strong interest in contributing to the development of the Nusantara.

Ina Krisnamurthi explained that this visit was to accelerate Nusantara development by bringing potential investors to the Nusantara and introducing them to the NCA.

“The Embassy and I carried out quite strict curation before bringing these investors here. Because we know for sure and understand the needs, (so we) use a priority scale so that we also have to choose those who are bona fide and have special interests. "It's proven that today they have a lot of questions about the progress of the Nusantara," she said.

Indra Yuwana as Director of Investment and Ease of Doing Business at the NCA, welcomed this visit and appreciated the efforts of the Indonesian Ambassador to India in bringing Indian investors to the Nusantara, they are interested in exploring investment with us and we also hope that many investors who enter Nusantara will increase public trust in sustainable development and the capital city relocation process.

"They (the investors) are top companies, some of whom have permanent companies in Indonesia from various sectors that focus on green energy and solar panels," said Indra.

Siddarth as Chief Financial Officer of PT Adani Global, expressed his appreciation for the invitation received to visit the Nusantara in person. He praised Nusantara's concept and detailed plans which cover all aspects of green energy, technology, security, lifestyle, and education. Siddarth emphasized that all of this is needed in the development of Nusantara, and he is very happy to contribute to Nusantara's vision.

During this visit, Indian investors were present, namely Apollo Hospital Representative, Gaurav; President Director of GMR Indonesia, Satya; Chief Financial Officer of PT Adani Global, Siddarth; Manager of PT Adani Global, Ajith Rao; Director of PT Inti Bumi Sukses, Sanjay Lakhiani; and PT Rabani Corporindo Representative, Matthew Dixon.
