Digital Warehousing Facilities Will Soon Be Available in Nusantara

NUSANTARA - The implementation of digital and cutting-edge aspects in the Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA) is a vital point in the development of Nusantara. Warehousing aspects that are smart, sustainable, and green are designed by PT. Wulandari Bangun Laksana in the groundbreaking ceremony for Nusantara Warehouse Park in Nusantara on Wednesday (17/01/2024).

"The warehouse to be built by PT. Wulandari Bangun Laksana will utilize smart technology, making services easier, more efficient, and environmentally friendly," said the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo when inaugurating the groundbreaking ceremony.

Joko Widodo added that the warehousing industry, such as Nusantara Warehouse Park, will complement development activities in Nusantara, parallel to the opening of new job opportunities and economic growth in the Nusantara region.

The Chairman of the NCA, Bambang Susantono, also appreciated the development of the warehousing industry as a form of diverse investment in Nusantara.

"In this fourth groundbreaking, Mr. President (Joko Widodo) and I are pleased that there is diversity in this groundbreaking. Not only is it a public investment but various types, one of which is the warehousing industry," said Bambang Susantono.

Bambang added that with this diverse investment, it can create momentum for more investments in Nusantara in the future. There will be increasing interest not only from the domestic public but also from foreign private sectors.

The President Director of PT. Wulandari Bangun Laksana, Christopher Sumasto, mentioned that the government's support for this project will also increase their investments in the Nusantara region.

"At present, with a land area of 3.3 hectares and a phase 1 investment value of IDR 100 billion, we will build a modern warehouse that prioritizes sustainability and environmental friendliness. Furthermore, if the government provides more land, we will increase investment and invite private partners to join," said Christopher Sumasto.

Nusantara Warehouse Park is located in the Core Government Center Area 1C, near the IKN-BPN toll gate entrance. Its strategic location will facilitate the distribution of goods to various destinations throughout Nusantara, speeding up the supply chain and reducing logistics costs.

Moreover, this project prioritizes sustainability and environmental friendliness. With the application of green technology and environmentally friendly practices, Nusantara Warehouse Park is expected to set an example for the warehousing industry throughout Nusantara.
